About me
I use statistics to solve business problems
A data professional with a Master’s in Statistics and a habit of asking “but does this actually matter?” I work in an analyst/PM role and am actively transitioning into data science in healthcare, where rigor, context, and consequences all count.
I like messy data, clear thinking, and models that explain themselves. My interests sit at the intersection of statistics, programming, and real-world decision-making, especially when the outcome affects patient care or system efficiency.
This site is my portfolio, notebook, and sandbox—projects, writing, and lessons learned while turning statistical theory into practical impact.
What I do
Exploratory analysis
Interrogate messy, real-world data to uncover patterns, anomalies, and limitations—and to understand what questions the data can (and can’t) answer.
programming predictive models
Build statistical and machine learning models in Python or R, with an emphasis on interpretability, evaluation, and real-world constraints, not just accuracy.
Operationalizing data insights
Move insights out of notebooks and into practice—through clear narratives, metrics, and actionable recommendations.
Skills
Python
Applied in PanadaSQL EDA of Cancer outcomes and Kidney Failure prediction modelling
RStudio
Applied a range of statistical modeling techniques through graduate-level coursework and projects
SQL
Applied in a professional setting for data preprocessing, ad hoc analysis, and answering operational and reporting questions.
My Experience
2023 - Current
SelectQuote
Healthcare Workflow Operations Manager II
Leveraged predictive analytics to identify operational bottlenecks, directly contributing to a cross-functional strategy that drove $250M in annual revenue growth.
